Privacy at HBD.fm
Information you provide
A song brief may include names, an optional age or milestone, memories, inside jokes, contact details, creative preferences and delivery instructions. Only provide information you have permission to share. Do not submit full birth dates, home addresses, passwords, financial information, medical records or highly sensitive private details.
How information is used
HBD.fm uses the brief to review the request, communicate with the buyer, create and deliver the song, process payment and make factual corrections. Details are not sold to advertisers.
Private song links
Private means unlisted and excluded from search by default. It does not mean encrypted or confidential: anyone who receives the link can open it. A page is made public or used as a sample only with permission.
Browser storage
Unfinished drafts may be stored locally in your browser so you can continue later. You can clear a draft with the “Clear draft” button in the order form or through your browser’s site-data controls.
Analytics and embedded audio
HBD.fm uses Google Analytics to understand general site use and SoundCloud to play public samples. These services may receive technical information such as device, browser and network data. HBD.fm does not send song names, memories or email addresses to analytics events.
Retention and deletion
Production records are retained only as needed to fulfill the order, support corrections, maintain the private page and meet ordinary business obligations. Buyers may request deletion of their brief or page by contacting hello@hbd.fm.
Children
Adults may order songs for children, but the service is not designed for children to submit personal information on their own.
Effective August 3, 2026. This privacy policy should be reviewed by counsel before material scale or expanded data collection.
